Artist Bio:
The Kinks were an English rock band formed in Muswell Hill, North London in 1964. The group consisted of brothers Ray and Dave Davies, along with Mick Avory and Pete Quaife. They were part of the British Invasion of the United States in the 1960s and are known for their distinctive sound that blended rock with elements of British music hall, rhythm and blues, and pop.

The Kinks achieved international success with hits such as "You Really Got Me," "All Day and All of the Night," and "Lola." They were also known for their satirical lyrics and social commentary in songs like "Sunny Afternoon" and "Dedicated Follower of Fashion." The Kinks were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and are considered one of the most influential bands of the 1960s.
