Artist Bio:
The Knack was an American rock band formed in 1978 in Los Angeles, California. The band consisted of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Doug Fieger, lead guitarist Berton Averre, bassist Prescott Niles, and drummer Bruce Gary. Their most famous and successful song is "My Sharona," which was released in 1979 and became a massive hit, reaching the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The Knack's debut album, "Get the Knack," was released in 1979 and also achieved commercial success, reaching number one on the Billboard 200 chart. Despite their initial success, The Knack struggled to replicate the same level of popularity with their subsequent albums. The band disbanded in the early 1980s but reunited in the 1990s and continued to perform and release music until Fieger's death in 2010. The Knack is remembered as a one-hit wonder band, but "My Sharona" remains a classic rock anthem.
