Artist Bio:
The Knack was an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1978. The band consisted of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Doug Fieger, lead guitarist Berton Averre, bassist Prescott Niles, and drummer Bruce Gary. Their most famous and successful hit was the song "My Sharona," which was released in 1979 and topped the charts in the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

The Knack's debut album, "Get the Knack," was released in 1979 and was a commercial success, reaching the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart. Despite their initial success, The Knack was unable to replicate the same level of popularity with their subsequent albums. The band disbanded in the early 1980s but reunited in the 1990s and continued to perform and record music until Doug Fieger's passing in 2010.
