Song Info:
"My Sharona" is a song by the American rock band The Knack. It was released as a single in 1979 and quickly became a massive hit, reaching the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song's infectious energy and catchy melody helped it become a defining anthem of the late 1970s.

Artist Bio:
The Knack was formed in Los Angeles in 1978. The band consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Doug Fieger, guitarist Berton Averre, bassist Prescott Niles, and drummer Bruce Gary. Their debut album, "Get The Knack," featuring the hit single "My Sharona," was released in 1979 and became one of the best-selling albums of the year. Despite the immense success of their debut, The Knack struggled to replicate the same level of commercial achievement with their subsequent releases. The band continued to perform and release music throughout the 1980s and 1990s, with various lineup changes, before disbanding in the early 2000s.
