Artist Bio:
The Knack was an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1978. The band consisted of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Doug Fieger, lead guitarist Berton Averre, bassist Prescott Niles, and drummer Bruce Gary. They are best known for their hit song "My Sharona," which was released in 1979 and topped the charts in the United States, Canada, and Australia. The song was a massive commercial success and propelled the band's debut album, "Get The Knack," to the top of the charts as well.

Despite the success of "My Sharona," The Knack struggled to replicate the same level of success with their subsequent albums. The band released several more albums over the years, but none achieved the same level of commercial success as their debut. The Knack disbanded in the early 1980s but reunited several times over the years for tours and performances. Doug Fieger passed away in 2010, leading to the eventual dissolution of the band.
