Artist Bio:
The Knickerbockers were an American rock band formed in 1962 in Bergenfield, New Jersey. The band consisted of members Beau Charles (vocals and guitar), John Charles (bass and vocals), and brothers Jimmy Walker (drums) and Buddy Randell (vocals and guitar). They gained popularity in the 1960s with their catchy garage rock sound and were often compared to The Beatles due to their similar harmonies and musical style.

One of The Knickerbockers' most well-known songs is "Lies," which was released in 1965 and reached #20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song's success helped the band secure a recording contract with Capitol Records. Despite their brief commercial success, The Knickerbockers were unable to sustain their momentum and disbanded in 1970. However, they left a lasting impact on the music scene, especially within the garage rock genre.
