Artist Bio:
The Mamas & The Papas were an American folk rock group formed in 1965. The band consisted of members John Phillips, Denny Doherty, Cass Elliot, and Michelle Phillips. They are known for their close vocal harmonies and blending elements of pop, rock, and folk music in their songs. The band achieved significant commercial success in the mid-1960s with hits like "California Dreamin'," "Monday, Monday," and "Dedicated to the One I Love."

The Mamas & The Papas were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. Despite their relatively short time together as a band, they left a lasting impact on the music industry and are considered one of the most iconic groups of the 1960s. Tragically, the band faced internal conflicts and personal issues which led to their breakup in 1968.
