The Marc Tanner Band was an American rock band formed in the late 1970s. The band was fronted by Marc Tanner, who was the lead vocalist and guitarist. They released their self-titled debut album in 1979, which featured a mix of rock and pop music. The album received moderate success and spawned the single "Elena", which gained some airplay on radio stations.
In 1980, The Marc Tanner Band released their second album titled "No Escape", which featured a more polished sound compared to their debut. The album included the single "She's So High", which received some attention on the charts. Despite their efforts, the band did not achieve widespread commercial success and eventually disbanded. The Marc Tanner Band remains a part of the music landscape of the late 1970s and early 1980s.
