The Marvelows were an American soul group formed in 1964 in Chicago, Illinois. The group consisted of four members: Frank Paden, Willie Jones, Willie Stephenson, and Jesse Smith. They are best known for their hit single "I Do" released in 1965, which reached number seven on the Billboard R&B chart and number 37 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song was also featured on their debut album of the same name.

Despite the success of "I Do," The Marvelows did not achieve significant commercial success with their subsequent releases. They continued to perform and release music throughout the 1960s and 1970s but eventually disbanded in the late 1970s. The Marvelows are remembered as a one-hit wonder in the soul music genre, with "I Do" remaining a popular song in the Northern Soul scene.
