Consisting of sisters Christine, Dorothy, and Phyllis McGuire, they were known for their close harmony singing style and polished performances. The group achieved widespread success with hits such as "Sincerely," "Sugartime," and "Goodnight, Sweetheart, Goodnight."
The McGuire Sisters were regulars on television variety shows and appeared in several films. They were inducted into the National Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 1994 and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2001. The group disbanded in the mid-1960s but reunited for occasional performances over the years. Their music continues to be celebrated for its nostalgic charm and timeless appeal.
