Artist Bio:
The Miracles were an American rhythm and blues vocal group that was formed in 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. The group originally consisted of five members: Smokey Robinson, Warren "Pete" Moore, Ronnie White, Bobby Rogers, and Claudette Rogers. They were one of the first acts to sign with Motown Records and became one of the label's most successful and influential acts.

The Miracles are best known for their string of hits in the 1960s, including "Shop Around," "You've Really Got a Hold on Me," and "Tears of a Clown." They were also the first Motown act to score a number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with "Shop Around" in 1960. The Miracles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012, recognizing their contributions to the music industry and their impact on the development of the Motown sound.
