Artist Bio:
The Miracles were an American rhythm and blues vocal group that achieved fame in the 1960s as one of the first acts to sign to Motown Records. The group was formed in 1955 in Detroit, Michigan, and originally consisted of founding members Smokey Robinson, Ronald White, Pete Moore, Bobby Rogers, and Claudette Robinson.
The Miracles were known for their smooth harmonies, catchy melodies, and Robinson's distinctive falsetto voice. They released numerous hit songs throughout the 1960s, including "Shop Around," "You've Really Got a Hold on Me," and "The Tracks of My Tears." The group's success helped establish Motown Records as a major player in the music industry, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
