Artist Bio

Artist Bio:
The Miracles were an American rhythm and blues vocal group that was formed in 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. The group was originally known as The Five Chimes and later changed their name to The Matadors before finally settling on The Miracles. The group's original lineup included Smokey Robinson, Warren "Pete" Moore, Ronnie White, and Bobby Rogers, with Claudette Robinson joining later as the first female member.

The Miracles were one of the first acts signed to Motown Records and became one of the label's most successful and influential groups. They were known for their smooth harmonies and soulful vocals, and their hits include classics like "Shop Around," "You've Really Got a Hold on Me," and "The Tracks of My Tears." The Miracles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 in recognition of their contributions to the music industry.
