Artist Bio:
The Miracles were an American rhythm and blues vocal group that was formed in 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. The group was originally known as The Matadors and later changed their name to The Miracles after signing with Motown Records. The original members of The Miracles were Smokey Robinson, Warren "Pete" Moore, Ronnie White, Bobby Rogers, and Claudette Rogers.

The Miracles were one of the first successful acts for Motown Records and were known for their smooth harmonies and soulful sound. They achieved major success in the 1960s with hits such as "Shop Around," "You've Really Got a Hold on Me," and "The Tracks of My Tears." The group's lead singer, Smokey Robinson, also served as their primary songwriter and producer. The Miracles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
