Artist Bio:
The Miracles were an American rhythm and blues vocal group that was formed in 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. They were one of the first successful acts for Berry Gordy's Motown Records. The original members of the group included Smokey Robinson, Ronnie White, Warren "Pete" Moore, Bobby Rogers, and Claudette Rogers.
The Miracles are known for producing hits such as "Shop Around," "You've Really Got a Hold on Me," and "The Tracks of My Tears." They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. The group's smooth harmonies and Robinson's distinctive falsetto voice helped define the Motown sound of the 1960s. The Miracles' influence on popular music continues to be felt, and their music remains a staple of classic R&B and soul playlists.
