The Miracles were an American rhythm and blues vocal group, notable for being the first successful group act for Berry Gordy's Motown Records. Formed in 1955 in Detroit, Michigan, the original lineup included Smokey Robinson, Warren "Pete" Moore, Ronnie White, Bobby Rogers, and Claudette Robinson. Smokey Robinson served as the lead singer and primary songwriter for the group, penning many of their hit songs.

The Miracles achieved commercial success in the 1960s with hits like "Shop Around," "You've Really Got a Hold on Me," and "The Tracks of My Tears." They were known for their smooth harmonies and soulful sound, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. The group's influence on the Motown sound and popular music in general is significant, with many of their songs considered classics of the genre.
