The Mojo Men were an American rock band formed in San Francisco in the mid-1960s. The group's original lineup consisted of Jim Alaimo, Paul Curcio, Don Metchick, and Dennis DeCarr. They gained popularity in the local music scene and eventually signed with Autumn Records. Their most successful period was between 1965 and 1968 when they released several singles, including "Dance with Me," "She's My Baby," and "Sit Down, I Think I Love You."
The Mojo Men were known for their energetic live performances and catchy, upbeat songs that blended elements of rock, pop, and garage rock. They were part of the vibrant music scene in San Francisco during the 1960s and shared stages with bands like The Byrds, The Doors, and Jefferson Airplane. Despite achieving some commercial success, The Mojo Men disbanded in 1968. Their music continues to be appreciated by fans of 1960s rock and is considered a part of the era's musical legacy.
