Artist Bio:
The Moments were an American R&B vocal group formed in the late 1960s in Washington, D.C. The original members were Mark Greene, Eric Olfus, and Richard Gross. They later added Larry Mizell and Al Goodman to the group. The Moments are best known for their hit songs "Love on a Two-Way Street" and "Sexy Mama," both of which reached the top of the R&B charts in the early 1970s. Their music was characterized by soulful harmonies and smooth arrangements, blending elements of doo-wop and soul.
The Moments enjoyed success throughout the 1970s, releasing several albums and singles that were well-received by both R&B and pop audiences. In 1979, the group changed their name to Ray, Goodman & Brown after a legal dispute over the rights to the name "The Moments." Despite the name change, the group continued to perform and record music, maintaining a dedicated fan base.
