Artist Bio:
The Monkees were an American rock and pop band formed in Los Angeles in 1966. The group was created for a television show of the same name, which aired from 1966 to 1968. The members of the band were Davy Jones, Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith, and Peter Tork.

The Monkees quickly became a popular and successful band, known for their catchy songs and comedic television antics. They released a number of hit singles, including "Last Train to Clarksville," "I'm a Believer," and "Daydream Believer." The band's popularity waned in the early 1970s, but they experienced a resurgence in the 1980s and continued to perform and record music sporadically over the years. The Monkees were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.
