The Moody Blues are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1964. The band's original lineup consisted of keyboardist Mike Pinder, multi-instrumentalist Ray Thomas, guitarist Denny Laine, drummer Graeme Edge, and bassist Clint Warwick. They are best known for their progressive and psychedelic rock sound, which often featured orchestral accompaniment and intricate vocal harmonies.
The Moody Blues achieved commercial success with their 1967 album "Days of Future Passed," which featured their signature song "Nights in White Satin." Throughout their career, the band released numerous successful albums and singles, including "Question," "The Voice," and "I'm Just a Singer (In a Rock and Roll Band)." The Moody Blues were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018, recognizing their influence and contribution to the rock music genre.
