The Moody Blues are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1964. The original lineup consisted of keyboardist Mike Pinder, multi-instrumentalist Ray Thomas, guitarist Denny Laine, drummer Graeme Edge, and bassist Clint Warwick. They are known for their fusion of rock with classical music, symphonic elements, and philosophical lyrics. The band became prominent in the late 1960s with their concept albums, including "Days of Future Passed" and "In Search of the Lost Chord".


The Moody Blues are best known for hits like "Nights in White Satin", "Tuesday Afternoon", and "Ride My See-Saw". They have sold over 70 million records worldwide and have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
