The Moody Blues are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1964. The original lineup consisted of keyboardist Mike Pinder, guitarist/vocalist Denny Laine, drummer Graeme Edge, bassist Clint Warwick, and flautist/vocalist Ray Thomas. Over the years, the band's lineup has seen several changes, with guitarist/vocalist Justin Hayward and bassist/vocalist John Lodge joining the group in the late 1960s.
The Moody Blues are known for their fusion of rock with classical music and psychedelic elements, creating a unique and distinctive sound. They are best known for their concept albums including "Days of Future Passed" and hit singles like "Nights in White Satin" and "Tuesday Afternoon." The band has sold over 70 million records worldwide and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Despite several hiatuses and lineup changes, The Moody Blues continue to perform and record music to this day.
