The Moody Blues are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1964. The band originally consisted of keyboardist Mike Pinder, multi-instrumentalist Ray Thomas, guitarist Denny Laine, drummer Graeme Edge, and bassist Clint Warwick. They are known for their unique fusion of rock and classical music, as well as their progressive and psychedelic sound.


The Moody Blues achieved commercial success with their album "Days of Future Passed" in 1967, which featured the hit single "Nights in White Satin." Throughout their career, they released numerous albums and singles that were well-received by both critics and fans. The band has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has sold over 70 million records worldwide. Despite several lineup changes over the years, The Moody Blues have maintained a loyal fan base and continue to perform live concerts.
