The Moody Blues are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1964. The original lineup consisted of keyboardist Mike Pinder, multi-instrumentalist Ray Thomas, guitarist Denny Laine, drummer Graeme Edge, and bassist Clint Warwick. Over the years, the lineup changed, with notable members including Justin Hayward, John Lodge, and Patrick Moraz.


The Moody Blues are known for their fusion of rock with classical music, as well as their psychedelic and progressive rock sound. They achieved commercial success with their concept albums, such as "Days of Future Passed" and hits like "Nights in White Satin." The band has sold over 70 million albums worldwide and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Moody Blues continue to tour and perform, leaving a lasting impact on the music industry.
