Artist Bio:
The Motels are an American new wave band formed in Berkeley, California in 1978. The band was fronted by lead singer Martha Davis, who is known for her distinctive vocals and songwriting. The Motels achieved commercial success in the early 1980s with hits such as "Only the Lonely" and "Suddenly Last Summer".


The band released several albums throughout the 1980s, including their self-titled debut album in 1979 and "All Four One" in 1982. The Motels disbanded in 1987 but reunited in the 2000s with Martha Davis as the sole original member. They continue to tour and perform, showcasing their unique blend of new wave and rock music to audiences around the world.
