They are best known for their hit song "Hushabye," which was released in 1959 and reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song has since become a doo-wop classic and is considered one of the group's signature tracks.

The Mystics continued to record and perform throughout the 1960s and 1970s, although with some lineup changes.
