Artist Bio

Artist Bio:
The Mystics were an American doo-wop group formed in Brooklyn, New York in the late 1950s. The original members included Phil Cracolici, Albee Cracolici, George Galfo, Bob Ferrante, and Al Contrera. They are best known for their hit song "Hushabye," which was released in 1959 and reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song has since become a doo-wop classic and is considered one of the group's signature tracks.

The Mystics continued to record and perform throughout the 1960s and 1970s, although with some lineup changes. They released several albums and singles, but none achieved the same level of success as "Hushabye." The group remains active today, with various iterations of the band touring and performing at doo-wop and oldies music festivals.
