Artist Bio:
The Mystics were an American doo-wop group that formed in Brooklyn, New York in the late 1950s. The group was composed of five members: Phil Cracolici, Albee Cracolici, George Galfo, Bob Ferrante, and Al Contrera. Their most famous and enduring hit was "Hushabye," which was released in 1959 and reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The Mystics were known for their smooth harmonies and romantic lyrics, which made them popular among doo-wop fans. They continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s and 1970s, although they never quite replicated the success of "Hushabye." The Mystics were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2003, recognizing their contributions to the doo-wop genre.
