The New Colony Six was a 1960s American rock band known for their blend of pop and psychedelic rock music. The band was originally formed in Chicago in 1964 and gained popularity with their catchy melodies and energetic live performances. Their lineup consisted of lead vocalist Ronnie Rice, guitarist Ray Graffia, keyboardist Wally Kemp, bassist Chuck Jobes, drummer Gerry Van Kollenburg, and saxophonist Pat McBride.
The New Colony Six achieved commercial success with songs like "I Will Always Think About You" and "Things I'd Like to Say," both of which charted on the Billboard Hot 100. They released several albums throughout the 1960s and early 1970s before disbanding in the mid-1970s. The band briefly reunited in the 1980s and continued to perform sporadically over the years. The New Colony Six left a legacy as one of the prominent bands of the 1960s Chicago music scene.
