Artist Bio:
The New Seekers were a British pop group formed in 1969 by Keith Potger after the break-up of his group, The Seekers. The New Seekers achieved international success with their hit single "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing (In Perfect Harmony)" in 1971, which was adapted from a Coca-Cola commercial jingle. The song reached the top of the charts in the UK and the US and became their signature song.
The group went on to release several other successful singles, including "Beg, Steal or Borrow" and "You Won't Find Another Fool Like Me". The New Seekers also represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1972, finishing in second place with the song "Beg, Steal or Borrow". The group disbanded in the mid-1970s but has had various reunions and lineup changes over the years.
