The song was released on July 10, 1997, as the second single from The Notorious B.I.G.'s second and final studio album, "Life After Death." It was produced by Puff Daddy and samples the Diana Ross song "I'm Coming Out."


Artist Bio:
The Notorious B.I.G., also known as Biggie Smalls, was born Christopher Wallace on May 21, 1972, in Brooklyn, New York. He rose to fame in the mid-1990s as one of the leading figures in East Coast hip hop. His debut album, "Ready to Die," was released in 1994 and is considered a classic in the genre. Tragically, The Notorious B.I.G. was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles on March 9, 1997, at the age of 24. Despite his untimely death, his influence on hip hop music and culture continues to be felt to this day.
