The Notorious B.I.G., also known as Biggie Smalls, was an American rapper and songwriter born on May 21, 1972, in Brooklyn, New York. He rose to fame in the mid-1990s with his debut album "Ready to Die," which is considered one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time. Biggie's distinctive deep voice, storytelling lyrics, and smooth flow set him apart as one of the most influential and talented rappers in the industry.
Tragically, The Notorious B.I.G. was killed in a drive-by shooting on March 9, 1997, in Los Angeles at the young age of 24. His second album, "Life After Death," was released shortly after his death and became a critical and commercial success. The Notorious B.I.G. is often cited as one of the greatest rappers of all time and is credited with helping to popularize East Coast hip-hop and bring it to the mainstream.
