The Offspring is an American rock band formed in 1984 in Garden Grove, California. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dexter Holland, lead guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman, bassist Todd Morse, and drummer Pete Parada. The Offspring is known for their high-energy punk rock music with catchy melodies and witty lyrics that often touch on social and political issues.


The band gained mainstream success with their third studio album, "Smash," released in 1994, which included hits such as "Come Out and Play" and "Self Esteem." The Offspring continued to achieve commercial success with albums like "Americana" and "Conspiracy of One."
