The Offspring is an American rock band formed in 1984 in Garden Grove, California. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dexter Holland, lead guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman, bassist Todd Morse, and drummer Pete Parada. The Offspring gained mainstream success with their third studio album, "Smash," released in 1994. The album featured hit singles such as "Come Out and Play" and "Self Esteem," and is considered one of the best-selling independent albums of all time.


The Offspring is known for their punk rock and alternative rock sound, with catchy melodies and socially conscious lyrics. They have released several successful albums over the years, including "Americana," "Conspiracy of One," and "Splinter." The band has maintained a strong fan base and continues to tour and release new music, with their latest album, "Let the Bad Times Roll," released in 2021.
