The Offspring is an American rock band formed in 1984 in Garden Grove, California. The band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dexter Holland, lead guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman, bassist Todd Morse, and drummer Pete Parada. The Offspring gained mainstream success with their third studio album, "Smash," released in 1994. The album included hit singles such as "Come Out and Play" and "Self Esteem," and is considered one of the best-selling independent albums of all time.
Known for their energetic live performances and blending elements of punk rock and alternative rock, The Offspring has released several successful albums over the years, including "Americana," "Conspiracy of One," and "Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace."
