The O'Jays are an American R&B group that was formed in Canton, Ohio in 1958. The founding members were Eddie Levert, Walter Williams, William Powell, Bobby Massey, and Bill Isles. The group's name was derived from the last name of their manager, Eddie O'Jay. The O'Jays are known for their soulful harmonies, socially conscious lyrics, and energetic live performances.

The O'Jays achieved mainstream success in the 1970s with hit songs such as "Love Train," "For the Love of Money," and "Use ta Be My Girl." They have released numerous albums and received multiple Grammy nominations over the years. The group was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005.
