Artist Bio:
The O'Jays are an American R&B group that originated in Canton, Ohio, in 1958. The group was formed by Eddie Levert, Walter Williams, William Powell, Bobby Massey, and Bill Isles. The group's name was inspired by the Cleveland radio disc jockey Eddie O'Jay. The O'Jays are known for their soulful vocal harmonies and socially conscious lyrics, which often addressed issues of love, politics, and social justice.

The O'Jays achieved mainstream success in the 1970s with hits like "Back Stabbers," "Love Train," and "For the Love of Money." They have released numerous albums and won several awards, including a BET Lifetime Achievement Award and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The group continues to perform and tour, with Eddie Levert and Walter Williams as the remaining original members.
