The O'Jays are an American R&B group formed in Canton, Ohio in 1958. The group consists of original members Eddie Levert, Walter Williams, and Bobby Massey. They are known for their soulful harmonies and socially conscious lyrics, and are considered one of the most successful and influential R&B groups of the 1970s. The O'Jays achieved mainstream success with hits like "Love Train," "Back Stabbers," and "For the Love of Money," which earned them multiple Grammy nominations.


The O'Jays were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. They have received numerous awards and accolades throughout their career, and continue to perform and tour, delighting audiences with their timeless music and energetic live performances.
