Artist Bio:
The Olympics were an American R&B group formed in 1957 in Los Angeles, California. The group consisted of members Walter Ward, Eddie Lewis, Charles Fizer, and Walter Hammond. They were best known for their hit songs "Western Movies" and "Hully Gully", both of which reached the top 10 on the Billboard R&B chart in 1958. The Olympics were known for their energetic live performances and catchy dance tunes that were popular during the early days of rock and roll.

Despite their initial success, the group faced challenges with changing lineups and label disputes which led to a decline in their popularity in the 1960s. The Olympics continued to perform and record music sporadically over the years, and their songs have been featured in various movies and TV shows. They were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999.
