Artist Bio:
The Olympics were an American doo-wop group formed in 1957 in Los Angeles, California. The group originally consisted of Walter Ward, Eddie Lewis, Charles Fizer, and Walter Hammond. They are best known for their hit songs "Western Movies" and "Hully Gully." "Western Movies" reached number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1958.

The Olympics were known for their energetic and lively performances, often incorporating comedic elements into their act. They were influential in the doo-wop and R&B music scenes of the late 1950s and early 1960s. The group continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s, although they never achieved the same level of commercial success as their early hits. The Olympics were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999.
