Artist Bio:
The Orlons were an American R&B girl group formed in Philadelphia in 1960. The group consisted of Rosetta Hightower, Shirley Brickley, Marlena Davis, and Stephen Caldwell. They were known for their doo-wop and soulful sound, as well as their energetic performances. The Orlons achieved success in the early 1960s with hits such as "The Wah-Watusi" and "Don't Hang Up."

Their most successful single, "South Street," reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1963. The Orlons were known for their catchy tunes, tight harmonies, and infectious dance moves. They continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s, but their popularity waned in the following decades. Despite this, The Orlons remain a notable group in the history of R&B and soul music.
