The Orlons were an American R&B vocal group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group was formed in 1960 and consisted of Rosetta Hightower, Marlena Davis, Steve Caldwell, and Shirley Brickley. They were known for their catchy doo-wop and soul hits, with a particular emphasis on dance music.


The Orlons gained popularity in the early 1960s with hits such as "The Wah-Watusi" and "Don't Hang Up." They were signed to the Cameo-Parkway record label and had several successful singles on the Billboard charts. The group's energetic performances and harmonious vocals made them a favorite among fans of the genre. The Orlons disbanded in the late 1960s, but their music continues to be celebrated for its fun and lively sound.
