Artist Bio:
The Orlons were an American R&B vocal group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group was formed in 1960 and consisted of lead singer Rosetta Hightower, Shirley Brickley, Marlena Davis, and Stephen Caldwell. They were known for their catchy and danceable songs, often with a playful and upbeat style. The Orlons gained popularity in the early 1960s with hits such as "The Wah-Watusi" and "Don't Hang Up."

Their music was characterized by their harmonized vocals and infectious melodies, which helped them become one of the prominent groups in the "girl group" genre of that era. The Orlons' music was influenced by rhythm and blues, doo-wop, and soul, and they were known for their energetic live performances. The group disbanded in the late 1960s, but their music continues to be celebrated and enjoyed by fans of 1960s pop and R&B music.
