The band's original members included Hughie Thomasson, Henry Paul, Billy Jones, Frank O'Keefe, and Monte Yoho. They gained popularity in the 1970s with their unique blend of rock, country, and blues influences.
The Outlaws are best known for their hits such as "There Goes Another Love Song" and "Green Grass and High Tides." They have released numerous albums over the years, with their self-titled debut album in 1975 being one of their most successful. The band went through several lineup changes over the years but continued to tour and release new music. The Outlaws have maintained a dedicated fan base and are considered pioneers of the southern rock genre.
