Artist Bio:
The Parade was a 1960s psychedelic pop band from Los Angeles, California. The group was formed in 1966 and consisted of Murray MacLeod on vocals and guitar, Jerry Riopelle on keyboards, and Murray's brother Patrick MacLeod on bass. They were known for their melodic and catchy songs that were influenced by the psychedelic music of the era. The Parade released their debut self-titled album in 1967, which featured the hit single "Sunshine Girl."

Despite their initial success, The Parade disbanded in 1968 after only one album. Murray MacLeod went on to join the band Chrysalis, while Jerry Riopelle pursued a successful solo career as a singer-songwriter and producer. The Parade's music has since gained a cult following among fans of 1960s psychedelic pop, with their album being reissued on CD in the 2000s.
