Artist Bio:
The Paris Sisters were an American pop vocal group consisting of siblings Priscilla, Albeth, and Sherrell Paris. They gained popularity in the early 1960s with hits such as "I Love How You Love Me" and "Dream Lover". Their signature sound was characterized by the ethereal vocals of lead singer Priscilla, which were often accompanied by lush orchestration and intricate arrangements. The group was known for their harmony-driven ballads and romantic lyrics, which appealed to a wide audience.
The Paris Sisters were discovered by songwriter Phil Spector and signed to his label, Philles Records. They worked closely with Spector and his team of musicians known as the "Wrecking Crew" to create their distinctive sound. Despite their success in the early 1960s, the Paris Sisters eventually faded from the music scene as musical tastes shifted towards rock and roll and other genres. However, their influence can still be heard in the music of artists who appreciate their unique blend of sweet melodies and sophisticated production.
