The People's Choice was an American R&B and funk band formed in Philadelphia in the 1970s. The group was best known for their hit single "Do It Any Way You Wanna," which reached the top of the Billboard R&B chart and peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1975. The People's Choice was signed to the Philadelphia International Records label, which was founded by renowned producers Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff. Their music was characterized by its infectious grooves, catchy melodies, and soulful vocals.
In addition to "Do It Any Way You Wanna," The People's Choice released several other singles that performed well on the charts, including "I Likes to Do It" and "Nursery Rhymes." The group disbanded in the early 1980s, but their music continues to be celebrated by fans of R&B and funk music.
