The Pixies Three were an American girl group formed in 1961 in Hanover, Pennsylvania. The group consisted of three teenage girls: Debbie Swisher, Kaye McCool, and Midge Bollinger. They were signed to the Mercury Records label and released their debut single "Birthday Party" in 1963, which became a minor hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at number 40.
Following the success of their debut single, The Pixies Three released several more singles, including "442 Glenwood Avenue" and "Cold, Cold Winter." They also released an album titled "Party with the Pixies Three" in 1964. Despite their short-lived career, The Pixies Three are remembered as one of the notable girl groups of the early 1960s, known for their harmonious vocals and catchy pop sound.
