Artist Bio:
The Playmates were an American pop vocal group formed in 1958. The trio consisted of Donny Conn (lead singer and guitarist), Morey Carr (baritone vocals and piano), and Chic Hetti (bass guitar and tenor vocals). They are best known for their hit single "Beep Beep" in 1958, which reached number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song featured catchy lyrics about a humorous race between a Cadillac and a Nash Rambler.

The Playmates continued to release music throughout the 1960s, but they never quite replicated the success of "Beep Beep." They also appeared in several films and TV shows, showcasing their musical talents. Despite not achieving widespread commercial success, The Playmates remain a notable part of the pop music landscape of the late 1950s and early 1960s.
