Artist Bio:
The Playmates were an American pop vocal group formed in 1958, consisting of Donny Conn (Donald Claps) and Morey Carr (Donald George Claps). Their biggest hit came in 1958 with the song "Beep Beep," which reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The Playmates were known for their catchy, light-hearted pop songs and harmonious vocals. They released several albums and singles throughout the 1960s, but were unable to replicate the success of "Beep Beep."

The Playmates disbanded in the early 1970s, but reunited for occasional performances over the years. Despite their relatively short-lived commercial success, The Playmates left a lasting impact on the music industry with their unique sound and memorable songs. Their music continues to be appreciated by fans of 1950s and 1960s pop music.
