Artist Bio:
The Playmates were an American pop vocal group formed in 1958. The original members were Donny Conn (lead singer and drummer), Morey Carr (guitarist), and Chic Hetti (pianist). They are best known for their hit song "Beep Beep" in 1958, which reached number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song featured humorous lyrics about a race between a Cadillac and a little Nash Rambler.

The Playmates continued to release music throughout the 1960s, but none of their other songs achieved the same level of commercial success as "Beep Beep." The group eventually disbanded in the early 1970s. Despite their relatively short-lived career, The Playmates left a lasting impression on the music industry with their catchy tunes and playful lyrics.
